Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Marketing Manager to join the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Bedford, with hybrid working arrangements, this role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum.

The Marketing Manager will be instrumental in leading partnerships marketing efforts, providing critical support to the UK Partnerships Team in delivering business priorities across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This pivotal role encompasses the strategic development, coordination, and execution of comprehensive marketing plans and messaging. You will be responsible for producing final marketing assets, including sophisticated digital content, event materials, and robust campaign toolkits, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Collaborating closely with the Senior Campaigns Marketing Manager, you will plan, manage, and meticulously measure MoneyHelper marketing campaigns, leveraging paid media to maximise reach and engagement with target audiences. This involves expertly coordinating low- and no-cost channels to deliver seamlessly integrated campaigns. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to building, growing, and managing our consumer-facing brand, MoneyHelper, and our corporate brand, MaPS, across diverse campaigns, communications, and channels, driving awareness among consumers (B2C), partners (B2B2C), and stakeholders (B2B).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate seamlessly with partnership managers across the UK, actively participating in team meetings to define and develop comprehensive marketing activity plans. Ensure all communication and engagement requirements are met, and deliver essential assets for collateral, digital channels, video, events, and campaign toolkits.
  • Serve as the primary conduit for disseminating key corporate messages, business objectives, and opportunities, such as MoneyHelper tool syndication, to partnership managers in a timely manner. Support partnership managers in reporting on their activities and impact.
  • Act as a vigilant brand guardian, supporting the design team with requests and meticulously project managing and monitoring all creative output. Uphold creative excellence and strict adherence to brand guidelines, conducting regular reviews and promoting best practices across the organisation.
  • Contribute actively to the brand and marketing team, demonstrating flexibility to provide support as required. Undertake additional duties as reasonably necessary to achieve team objectives.
  • Manage and optimise marketing campaigns in real-time to achieve predefined objectives, collaborating with media, creative, and in-house teams to measure performance and enhance impact.
  • Collaborate with all channel owners to develop, coordinate, and execute marketing plans for campaigns, leveraging paid, no-cost, and low-cost channels to ensure communication excellence and high audience engagement. This includes coordinating digital marketing efforts across social media (X, Facebook), website, SEO optimisation, chat, WhatsApp, content, and tool syndication.
